Ayrianne Parks, Director of Policy and Public Affairs

Ayrianne Parks works with the firm’s community development clients to achieve their legislative and advocacy goals. Ayrianne also lobbies on small business issues and appropriations. In this capacity, she creates advocacy materials and messaging, as well as curating content for print and online, aimed at cultivating congressional and public support for the firm, its clients, and their work. She also provides membership development and management support for the NMTC and CDFI Coalitions, as well as the Friends of the SBA Microloan Program.

Before joining Rapoza Associates in May 2013, Ayrianne served as the director of communications at the Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs. In that role, she managed communications policies for the association’s programs, provided strategic media advice for the 50 association board member organizations, and worked on workforce development policy and appropriations. She also gained valuable media, campaign and political experience as a public affairs manager at the Curley Company, a boutique Public Relations firm; as a member of the women’s specialty media team during the 2008 presidential campaign; and through internships with Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard and in the Sierra Club’s legislative office in Washington, D.C.

Ayrianne is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota with a degree in Political Science and Spanish.
